Windows 7 Backup  - Unable to load network driver for system image restore from a network location
Hi, Im having a problem with restoring an image from a network location The problem seems to be that no network interface is loading from the system recovery CD I've gone to the recovery command prompt and typed - "netsh interface show interface" and nothing is listed I have been struggling to get my network drivers loaded I have a Intel DH55TC motherboard which uses the Pro1000 set, got the original motherboard cd with the network drivers and latest from the net with no joy. Any help advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Mark

Hi Mark, I would like to verify if you can boot in system. If so, you can access the network on problematic PC for testing. If you can only access recovery console, try to use IP address instead of UNC path. If the issue persists, please ping the destination first. I've managed to get a bit further with it. I've now got the correct network drivers loaded, so when I do a "netsh interface show interface" in the recovery cmd window I can see the interface is connected and enabled. But still unable to restore the image from the network, I've put the WindowsImageBackup folder in the root of my share! I click on adavanced - search for a system image on the network - put in the unc path (\\myserver\Images\ - enter my correct user name and password. Just get the following error -An Internal error occurred, The network path was not found. (0x80070035) I've checked that I can access the share from another computer so I know the path name and login credentials are correct, but still have this error. Arrrrrrr!! Thanks Mark
